Starting set one off strong, the Dores took the first four points. Within a few minutes, starter, Ava Mooneyham, suffered an injury and Carson Ball subbed in. Harmony Jackson had an outstanding set with over 7 kills and a block. This set was full of rallies and kept a tight score. The girls had a great set but still came up a little short losing to Hickory Flat 28-30.

Going into set two, Lafayette started off strong again with Mabry Eason getting a kill for the first point of the set. Maggie Tower got two aces to force a Hickory Flat timeout. Lafayette continued to dominate with over six kills and another ace by Mary Laurel Bumgardner. The Dores took set two with a score of 25-18.
Set three was dominated by the Lady Dores starting off with a 8-1 lead, 1 block, 5 aces, 2 digs, 6 kills, and 3 tips. Freshman Maddie Volbracht was all over the court this set. The Dores took another 25-18 win pushing the Rebels into a fourth set.
Commodores had the lead and first point of the final set. In the first half, Lafayette stood strong but the Rebels fought back pushing it to a one-point game. The girls showed strength which led them to victory with a 25-21 score, leaving the Rebels behind with the Commodores taking the overall 3-1 win.
Although all of the girls contributed throughout the match, Maggie Tower was an integral part all over the floor and was the impact player of the match.
