The Pride of Lafayette won big at their first marching competition on Saturday, September 30th, 2023.

The band competed at Titan Marching Invitational at Ridgeland High School. Toys in the Attic, the marching show, placed first in the division and second overall out of all of the bands competing. In the morning performance their scores qualified them to be an all superior band. The band won first place in several categories such as color guard, percussion, visual, general award, and first place band.
