LHS volleyball had an intense matchup last night, (9/28/23) and took a big win against New Hope, with a final score of 8-0!
Previously, we last competed with New Hope on 9/12/23, winning with a score of 3-0. As of pre-game yesterday, varsity was 15-11 into the season. We had some good predictions for last night, but we also had some setbacks. One of our strongest players, Sara Akins, was injured and did not play last night.
Coach Taylor Elliot commented about the game yesterday. “I am eager and excited to see our girls play! We have had a few girls out the last couple days, and one starter out tonight. But, I am confident we will rally together to get the job done!”
New Hope’s overall volleyball record is 19-16. Either way it goes, we had a tough competition yesterday.
