The new winner of Miss USA was Asya Branch from Mississippi. Asya is the first to ever win from Mississippi. She is also the first African American to be named Miss Mississippi USA. Asya Branch,22, is originally from Boonville, Mississippi. She also graduated from Ole Miss. Branch has been very outspoken in the past regarding her passion for criminal justice reform. In which she has previously attended a roundtable discussion on gun reform alongside President Trump in 2019.  She has also performed the national anthem at a Trump rally in Mississippi. Now that she has won, she has plans to relocate to New York, where she’s been, offered many more opportunities. We are so proud to have such a great role model to be crowned as the first-ever Miss Mississippi USA.
