This year, Randy Anderson was labeled as 5A’s Mr. Football. Anderson could play any position, but towards the end of the season he played quarterback permanently after Tyrus Williams was injured. Randy Anderson has accomplished many things, but he said that it felt great to know that he was top of 5A for the whole of Mississippi.
Randy Anderson started getting his first varsity minutes when he was a freshman. During his sophomore and junior season he began to become a critical piece of the Dore’s offense.
The two people that motivate Randy the most are his coaches: head coach Michael Fair and offense Coach Summers. Randy Anderson’s experience with the Mr. Football event was amazing.
“It was a nice event and I received many gifts including a Saints jersey.”
Although Randy Anderson is the top player of 5A, he does not know at the moment where he will be going to play football in college.
Randy Anderson concluded his senior season with 1,389 rushing yards with a total of 18 touchdowns and passing 446 yards with 5 touchdowns.
