Lafayette cheerleaders hosted Lafayette high schools first pep-rally for 2019-2020 school year. Lafayette students really showed their school spirit and cheered on the football team to a victory over Clevland Wolves.
Lafayette cheerleader, Ally Bryan said, “Friday’s pep rally was a lot of fun, we got to perform our rally routine and I think the students really enjoyed it.”
Although the rally was fun, the cheerleading team is currently working on improving pep rallies to make them more fun for students. On Friday’s rally, they had the band perform, the choir to sing the national anthem, and the dance and cheer team do their performances and chants.
The students had a great time, cheering on the Lafayette football team to a great win 34-14.
